The TOEFL Speaking section requires learners to not only be able to express themselves orally in English but to tie to gether multiple language skills: reading, listening, and speaking.

You will need to develop a response to two independent speaking tasks: one which asks you about a familiar topic and one requires you to express your preference for something. For each of these you will need to develop an explanation or justification for your preference/choice.

There are also four integrated speaking tasks t;. Integrated means that you will read and/or listen to a passage and then speak about what you have read and heard.

Improving speaking skills in isolation without someone to provide feedback is nearly impossible.  Ensure that you are ready to take the TOEFL by signing up with one of our personal English tutors.

Learning to express yourself clearly, professionally, and fluently in your writing is a vital component of the TOEFL. The TOEFL exam requires you to demonstrate your ability to write in English in two ways.

The first task, known as the independent writing portion of the TOEFL, will present you with a question or statement and ask you to write an essay in the form of a compare and contrast, argumentation, or to express and support and opinion.

The second task known as the integrated writing portion will require you to write a response to a reading passage which is coupled with a short audio lecture.

Furthermore, they will give you feedback on your use of grammatical structures, verb tenses, and mechanics. Based on your individual needs your tutor may suggest exercises which address specific areas needing improvement.
